The wrong mascot

I always thought Australia chose the wrong mascot. Instead of having roadkill as the national symbol, I found the koala more accurately represented the Aussie psyche. Seemingly cute, but stoned and grumpy and best left to their own devices. So it's a potent thing to see the poor little buggers reaching out for help.
