A year ago, The Hive burst onto the net and things were never the same again. Its professional commentary added intelligence and gossip to the local circuit, and deservedly reached a wide audience. Alas, today the Hive has been abandoned. The Hive's raison d'etre has expired. Winston has wilted, the petit ancien regime has rotted away.
There is hope that some bees will rise from the comb sometime next year, once the loathed Electoral Finance Act has been democratised. Here's hoping they find new pastures to plunder soon.
