Boy, am I glad NZ no longer has a car industry. Oz car manufacturers getting A$3.4 billion, US car makers are asking for around US$50 billion so far with a little help from Obama. In the UK, General Motors' car assembly plant at Ellesmere Port could be driven over a cliff.

Mind you, it gets even weirder when you see companies like American Express asking for a US$3.5 billion bailout too.
